Financial Controller

About the role

Join METLEN Energy & Metals as a Financial Controller in Marousi, supporting the Energy sector with financial insight and data‑driven decisions that enable strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in financial monitoring and analysis of the Energy sector (generation, management, customer solutions, supply & trading).
• Develop financial forecasts and models to project future P&L and cash‑flow performance.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and produce variance reports.
• Conduct gap analysis and sensitivity analysis to support decision‑making.
• Contribute to the Energy Council's monthly presentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering (Master’s in Business Administration or Finance desirable).
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy sector or an audit firm serving that sector.
• Strong command of English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
