Finance Analyst – Controller (Finance & Controlling)

About the role

FOURNARAKIS SA is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst – Controller to strengthen its finance function and support continued growth. The role works closely with the CFO and senior management, delivering financial analysis, management reporting and continuous improvement of controlling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and present financial performance, variances and KPIs.
• Prepare monthly management reports covering trends, margins, profitability and areas requiring attention.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycles.
• Analyse sales, gross margin and product profitability by SKU, brand, channel and market.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, turnover and obsolete stock.
• Analyse purchasing, imports and landed costs affecting product profitability.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, reviewing accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Develop and enhance management dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools.
• Drive automation of reports and adoption of Business Intelligence solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling or FP&A within a large commercial or product‑driven organization.
• Proven experience handling extensive product portfolios, multiple SKUs, brands and sales channels.
• Strong understanding of P&L, margins, costing, inventory and profitability analysis.
• Good knowledge of Greek accounting and tax requirements, including myDATA and electronic invoicing.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably EntersoftOne.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data manipulation.
• Proficiency with reporting tools and Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
