Experienced Assistant Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Assistant Tax Accountant to join our Tax Services team in Athens. You will support the tax team in preparing and reviewing filings, ensuring compliance, and assisting clients with their tax obligations while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
• Prepare tax declarations for clients.
• Liaise with tax authorities, banks, lawyers, financial advisors, auditors and internal colleagues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of business tax matters.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field (MSc a plus).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in an audit or accounting firm.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with strong communication and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Positive attitude, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop.
