Enforcement Actions Lawyer

About the role

The Enforcement Actions Lawyer will manage the full judicial process for assigned NPL portfolios, coordinating legal actions with law firms, frontline teams, banks and other stakeholders. The role ensures timely execution of enforcement measures, court representation, and accurate updates in internal systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor execution of legal actions by law firms and ensure compliance with portfolio litigation policies.
• Provide guidance on legal action selection, escalation, and court representation to law firms and frontline staff.
• Track court proceedings, decisions, postponements, cancellations and appeals, updating the judicial system promptly.
• Oversee auction processes, rankings, claim tables and recommend corrective actions.
• Define and recommend appropriate legal and auction strategies in line with portfolio policies.
• Coordinate prenotations, mortgage conversions, lien registrations and other enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with law firms, banks, notaries and internal departments to resolve legal, documentation and operational issues.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays and issues throughout enforcement and liquidation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law and active membership in a Greek Bar Association with a valid practising licence.
• 3‑5 years of legal experience, including at least 1 year as an Enforcement Actions Lawyer; banking experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Greek civil procedure, security interests, auctions, electronic auction platforms and insolvency/debt‑settlement frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English suitable for legal drafting, reporting and communication with international investors.
• Computer literacy with solid knowledge of MS Office.
