Electrical Maintenance Technician – Shift (Can Ends Manufacturing)

About the role

The Ends Electrical (shift) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment in a can ends manufacturing facility. The role ensures machines run efficiently throughout the assigned shift, minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, controls, and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in production machinery, including PLCs, sensors, drives, and control circuits.
• Execute timely repairs to keep production flowing.
• Install, modify, and upgrade electrical equipment while complying with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Follow all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in training programs to enhance electrical knowledge.

Required profile

• Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrician, or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
