Collections Call Center Agent

About the role

As a Collections Call Center Agent in Intrum’s Collections Department, you will be responsible for contacting debtors, negotiating payment arrangements, and supporting the company’s debt recovery objectives. The role combines direct customer interaction with administrative tasks to ensure timely and effective collections.

Key responsibilities

• Engage debtors via the dialer system to negotiate payment plans, restructurings, or amicable resolutions.
• Analyze reasons for delinquency and propose appropriate payment arrangements.
• Review client deposit accounts and suggest offsets to relevant units.
• Maintain accurate customer records, including address and telephone updates.
• Provide customer service by answering inquiries, resolving invoice questions, and addressing concerns.
• Achieve production targets such as promise‑to‑pay rates, cash collected, and team goals.
