Cloud Security Specialist – Azure Focus

About the role

Novibet is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen the security posture of its cloud and cloud‑native environments, primarily on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with DevOps, Platform and Engineering teams to identify risks, provide remediation guidance, and support secure architecture design.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers and supporting technologies.
• Identify cloud misconfigurations, excessive permissions, publicly exposed resources and network security weaknesses.
• Implement and maintain security controls for container security, image scanning, runtime security and Kubernetes hardening.
• Support IAM, RBAC, privileged‑access and least‑privilege improvements across Azure environments.
• Participate in security reviews, risk assessments and threat‑modelling for new services and major technical changes.
• Define and monitor cloud security standards, policies, automated checks and security tooling configurations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud security, preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with security testing tools such as SAST and CSPM/CNAPP solutions.
• Strong understanding of container security, Kubernetes hardening and CI/CD pipeline protection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional technical teams.
