Buyer – Procurement Department

About the role

DRYFO S.A., a leading food trading and processing company, is looking for a motivated Buyer to join its Procurement Department at the headquarters in Kalochori, Thessaloniki. The successful candidate will support the sourcing, purchasing and inventory management of key product groups, ensuring cost‑effective and reliable supply.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels across major product groups and SKUs.
• Track market trends and continuously update purchase prices for key products.
• Develop and maintain an inventory monitoring system based on sales, purchase prices and storage costs.
• Evaluate quotations, approve purchases and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Analyze statistical data such as storage costs, purchase prices and demurrage.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones.
• Support import procedures and implement cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement or buying role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, discretion and confidentiality.
