Business Intelligence Engineer

About the role

Accepted is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join its hybrid delivery teams. You will help clients across finance, energy, gaming, telco and other sectors accelerate innovation by turning data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Create interactive, user‑friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop and optimise tabular models using DAX.
• Design, build and maintain SQL‑based ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to deliver data projects on time.
• Manage workspaces, enforce security protocols and optimise report performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with SQL, ETL and Microsoft data‑warehousing technologies.
• Proven experience designing and developing SSIS packages, Power BI and SSRS solutions.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version‑control systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Databricks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional data modelling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Understanding of Apache Spark, advanced Python skills and database systems are considered assets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
