Back-End Engineer – Build Scalable APIs

About the role

We are looking for a Back-End Engineer to join Aambience Services’ engineering team. You will design, develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs that power our BPO, IT and RPA platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain backend services, APIs and system components.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Participate in technical discussions and propose architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with product, design and frontend teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Monitor performance and reliability of services and drive continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of professional software engineering experience building production web applications.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands‑on experience with at least one additional backend language (Node.js, Java, Go, PHP, etc.).
• Understanding of REST APIs, micro‑services and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, Docker containers and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
