B2B Director – Energy Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a B2B Director for METLEN’s Energy Utility division in Paiania, Greece. The role leads the B2B commercial strategy and account management to drive profitable growth across large corporate customers for electricity, natural gas and broader energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the B2B commercial strategy, translating business priorities into growth ambitions, sales targets and commercial plans across customer segments.
• Lead portfolio growth by balancing acquisition, retention, margins and customer value while expanding relationships across electricity, natural gas and other energy solutions.
• Build and lead a high‑performing B2B Account Management team with clear accountability for commercial results.
• Develop strategic customer relationships, understand evolving energy needs and position METLEN as a trusted long‑term partner.
• Shape the B2B value proposition together with Marketing, New Products, Customer Excellence, Strategy, Energy Management and Finance.
• Own commercial performance governance, including sales effectiveness, incentive frameworks and alignment with credit and risk policies.

Required profile

• Extensive B2B commercial leadership experience, preferably in energy retail or a similarly complex B2B environment, with a proven record of profitable growth.
• Strong knowledge of the energy market, especially electricity and natural gas, and ability to translate market developments into business opportunities.
• Commercial and financial acumen with understanding of pricing, margins, customer profitability and portfolio economics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing commercial and account management teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation and communication skills with senior internal and external partners.
