Audit Associate – Athens

About the role

As part of KPMG Greece’s growth strategy, you will join the Audit department in Athens, working on challenging audit engagements while using cutting‑edge technologies. The role offers a personalized learning path, internal and external training, and the chance to acquire a leading audit professional qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit team members to understand client business and expectations.
• Complete assigned audit tasks and deliverables to high‑quality standards, adhering to plan, budget and audit standards.
• Perform audit procedures to obtain sufficient evidence and document findings.
• Inform senior team members of significant developments and progress.
• Maintain professional development by completing mandatory training and staying up‑to‑date with audit and accounting standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or related field (MSc considered an asset).
• Strong communication skills in Greek and English, both oral and written.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, positive attitude and focus on delivering quality work.
