Audit Assistant

About the role

EXELENXIS P.C. is a leading auditing and business consulting firm in Athens. As an Audit Assistant you will work alongside experienced professionals on statutory and tax audit engagements across diverse industries, gaining hands‑on experience in financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in statutory and tax audits, both on‑site and remotely.
• Collect, process, and analyse financial data, including statements and reconciliations.
• Perform data validation, comparisons, and analysis using spreadsheets.
• Support the planning and execution of audit procedures.
• Ensure compliance with audit standards and applicable legislation.
• Communicate effectively with client teams to deliver high‑quality service.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Professional certification (IESOEL, ICAEW, ACCA) completed or in progress.
• 3–5 years of relevant auditing experience.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with high integrity and attention to detail.
