Associate / Senior Associate – Intellectual Property & Technology

About the role

This position offers the chance to work on a broad and sophisticated range of intellectual property, technology and transactional matters within a dynamic, collegial team, advising leading Greek and international clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on both contentious and non‑contentious IP matters, including protection, management, commercialization and enforcement of IP rights.
• Handle IP disputes and proceedings before Greek courts, administrative authorities and IP offices.
• Draft and negotiate IP‑related commercial agreements such as licences, assignments and other exploitation arrangements.
• Provide counsel on legal and regulatory issues arising from artificial intelligence, digital platforms and emerging technologies.
• Participate in M&A and other corporate transactions, performing IP due diligence and advising on ownership, risk, transfers and structuring.
• Draft and negotiate technology‑related agreements and advise on the IP aspects of technology projects.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in intellectual property law at a reputable law firm.
• Strong background in copyright and/or trademark law with exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious work.
• Familiarity with AI and emerging‑technology regulatory issues is highly regarded.
• Experience in M&A and IP due diligence is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken; additional language a plus.
• Proven drafting, analytical and negotiation abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
