About the role
The Associate, Data Engineering will join Pfizer's CISO, Infrastructure and Cloud Services team, supporting the cybersecurity analytics ecosystem. The role involves day‑to‑day maintenance, incident response, and continuous improvement of data pipelines and analytics platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new data sources into supported analytics platforms and maintain data pipelines.
- Process incident tickets following defined support procedures and update documentation.
- Execute periodic reviews to ensure services operate as designed and monitor performance.
- Identify and correct inaccurate support documentation and suggest tool improvements.
Required profile
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a physical science (MS preferred).
- Less than 2 years of experience in cybersecurity and data engineering.
- Willingness to contribute fresh ideas and work in an agile, team‑oriented environment.
Required skills
- Python, Java, C, C++ programming.
- Linux operating system.
- Experience with CrowdStrike NG SIEM or Apache NiFi.
- Understanding of network infrastructure and cybersecurity tools.
