Associate Accountant

About the role

Velti is looking for an Associate Accountant to manage monthly financial processes and improve departmental efficiency. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and close collaboration with business units.

Key responsibilities

• Streamline the monthly close and consolidation cycles.
• Manage VAT and income tax obligations in line with Greek tax regulations.
• Perform general accounting tasks such as account reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support financial and tax audits, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.
• Research and analyse expense variances to provide insights for management.

Required profile

• BSc in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting principles and tax laws.
• Fluent in English and Greek.
• Excellent planning, organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• MS Navision.
