Assistant Manager – Tax Controversy & Litigation

About the role

Join a leading law firm’s Tax Litigation practice in Athens as an Assistant Manager. You will work with a dynamic team handling tax audits, administrative and judicial recourses, and representation before Administrative Courts for both individuals and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on tax statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Represent clients in tax disputes before tax authorities and administrative courts.
• Provide advisory guidance on tax controversy matters.
• Draft and file administrative and judicial recourses, appeals, and related documents.
• Attend hearings, trials, and other dispute‑resolution proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategies.
• Monitor legislative changes that may affect client cases.

Required profile

• Qualified Attorney‑at‑Law in Greece (Athens Bar Association or other).
• 5–8 years of experience in tax controversy, tax litigation, or related practice.
• LL.M. in Tax Law from a recognized university.
• Strong understanding of Greek tax laws, regulations, and administrative procedures.
• Experience with tax audits and representation before administrative courts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high client‑service standards.
