Assistant Logistics Coordinator

About the role

An organized and detail‑oriented Assistant Logistics Coordinator will join the operations team to support day‑to‑day logistics activities, ensuring orders, documentation, and shipments are accurately processed and tracked.

Key responsibilities

• Enter new orders into the operational system and ensure all relevant information is complete.
• Send confirmation emails to suppliers when new orders are received.
• Collect necessary information per purchase order and provide export documents when required.
• Arrange collections of orders and follow up daily until items are in stock at our warehouses.
• Maintain all operational system fields fully updated, including order documents and charges.
• Update the system with daily stock reports received from agents.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to correct mishandled or incorrect entries.
• Issue weekly order lists to ensure all orders are correctly updated.
• Review long‑stored orders and assist with team training if needed.
• Keep team leaders informed of delayed shipments, supplier/warehouse issues, and non‑profitable collections.
• Perform routine tasks according to company policies and the Integrated Management System.
• Report any environmental incidents or near misses to the Quality Executive.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with suggestions for better environmental and quality performance.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in maritime logistics (desired).
• Experience with ERP systems (desired).
