AIT Technician

About the role

The AIT Technician at ICEYE assembles, integrates and tests satellite hardware to turn qualified designs into flight‑ready spacecraft. Working in a clean‑room environment in Athens, the role focuses on mechanical, thermal and harness integration, ensuring every component meets strict quality and traceability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare operations by reviewing procedures, drawings and verifying part numbers, quantities and condition before work begins.
• Assemble satellite structures, panels, brackets, payloads and thermal hardware according to drawings and torque specifications.
• Integrate subsystems, verify fit, alignment and interfaces, and perform handling and lifting operations using MGSE and integration stands.
• Route, install and connect flight harnesses, including multi‑layer insulation (MLI) and thermal hardware.
• Document all work, maintain traceability and ensure compliance with clean‑room protocols.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical assembly and integration of aerospace hardware or similar high‑precision manufacturing.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, verify documentation and maintain high quality standards.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a clean‑room environment and travel occasionally for test campaigns.
