Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

TITAN Greece is looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join its Finance team at the head office in Athens. Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of AP transactions while collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies and maintain up‑to‑date AP records.
• Identify invoices from the e‑book database and coordinate timely posting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance and other departments to resolve invoice‑related issues.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments and account balances.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare related financial reports.
• Perform periodic account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and automation initiatives within the AP function.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting (master’s degree is a plus).
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in a large company, industrial environment or audit/consulting firm.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Military service fulfilled, if applicable.
