Accountant

About the role

DrP Wellness Group, a fast‑growing pharmacy retail platform in Greece, is looking for an Accountant to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial recording.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations and maintain bookkeeping records.
• Ensure accounting records comply with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP).
• Reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts, investigating discrepancies.
• Conduct daily store cash reconciliations and regular bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Review and process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Assist with payment preparation, VAT, withholding tax, myDATA and other statutory reporting.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors and public authorities.
• Provide payroll accounting support and related reconciliations.
• Participate in accounting integration for newly acquired entities and finance transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with myDATA processes and electronic invoicing requirements.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
