Mid-level Systems Engineer – Internal IT Operations

About the role

Infiterra is looking for a mid‑level Systems Engineer to own and evolve its internal IT environment. You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint devices and corporate SaaS applications while driving automation, security and service quality for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate Azure AD/Entra ID identities, groups and conditional‑access policies.
• Automate employee onboarding, role changes and off‑boarding to ensure seamless access provisioning.
• Manage the laptop fleet via Microsoft Intune, keeping devices patched, compliant and audit‑ready.
• Administer core Microsoft/Azure services and SaaS tools to guarantee uptime and prevent configuration drift.
• Provide fast internal support, meet SLAs, build a knowledge base and reduce recurring ticket volume.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with internal IT operations, especially Microsoft 365, Azure and endpoint management.
• Structured problem‑solver who addresses root causes rather than work‑arounds.
• Clear communicator able to assist colleagues of varying technical levels.
• Ownership mindset with documentation discipline to avoid single‑person dependency.

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration

• Basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, routing)
• Security fundamentals (least‑privilege, patching, endpoint protection, access controls)

• IT troubleshooting and incident management
• Documentation and run‑book creation
