Junior IT Help Desk Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Technician to join our team at TP Greece in Chania. You will provide first‑line support to internal departments, ensuring their workstations and software run smoothly and stay up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents reported by end‑users.
• Apply security patches and perform routine maintenance on workstations.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and applications on Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage tickets using our ticketing system, coordinating with IT specialists and other departments.
• Assist in project coordination between clients, departments and the core IT team.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and multitasking abilities with a focus on minimizing downtime.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Professional punctuality, reliability and flexibility in working hours.

Required skills

• Windows OS and macOS configuration and maintenance.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Ivanti).
• Knowledge of Avaya telephony solutions.
• Familiarity with VMware Horizon virtual desktop environments.
