Data Scientist – Data Analyst

About the role

EY is seeking a motivated Data Scientist/Data Analyst to join its AI & Data team within the Consulting practice. You will work on multi‑disciplinary projects across the EMEIA region, supporting global clients in the financial and corporate sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and apply appropriate modeling techniques to answer critical business questions.
• Perform data management, integration and visualization to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine‑learning models for classification, prediction, clustering, forecasting and optimization.
• Prepare and deliver presentations of modeling results and project proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 2–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a commercial/industrial context.
• Proven experience with large, disparate datasets (structured, semi‑structured or unstructured).

Required skills

• Data modeling and management.
• Predictive modeling and optimization.
• Strong proficiency with databases and statistical packages: R, Python, SAS, SPSS, SQL.
