Retail Design Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Design Architect to join Plaisio’s design team. The role focuses on creating functional, attractive store environments that align with the brand’s retail concept and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design new stores and develop layouts that meet functional and brand requirements.
• Develop renovation proposals and improvement plans for existing stores.
• Create floor plans, construction drawings, and detailed technical documentation for retail spaces.
• Participate in thematic campaigns and major commercial activations such as Black Friday and Christmas.
• Support accurate recording, measurement, and digitisation of store data in SAP when required.
• Manage visual‑related matters, evaluate change requests and propose functional solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, designers, visual merchandising, commercial teams and external partners.
• Translate commercial needs into practical architectural solutions for physical stores.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Interest in retail design, commercial spaces and customer experience.
• Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail and ability to combine design with practical implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic retail environment.
• Strong organisational skills, consistency in meeting deadlines and technical accuracy.
• Experience in architectural drawings, floor plans and technical detailing.
• Excellent knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Office Suite, Rhino, V‑Ray, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience in retail or commercial projects is considered a strong asset.
