Procurement Manager – Athens

About the role

ICEYE is a global provider of space‑based synthetic aperture radar intelligence. The Procurement Manager in Athens will own sourcing and procurement for site‑specific activities, ensuring alignment with development milestones, prototyping and pre‑production planning. This role works closely with quality, regulatory and legal teams to keep the supply chain on track.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing and procurement for approved and new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory and corporate policies.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers, leading the qualification process together with quality, regulatory and legal teams.
• Coordinate communications and issue escalation with international and local suppliers to guarantee timely remediation.
• Align procurement inputs with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to meet development milestones and pre‑production plans.
• Monitor supply‑chain risks, lead times and resource allocation, proactively resolving conflicts and delays.

Required profile

• Relevant studies in Logistics, Procurement, International Business or similar fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor or electronics.
• Strong project‑management experience handling multiple simultaneous development projects with tight timelines.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manufacturo) and project tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Fluent spoken and written Greek and English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Manufacturo.
• MES platforms used for manufacturing execution.
• Project‑management tools like Jira, Smartsheet and MS Project.
• Computerized inventory‑management systems (e.g., Netsuite, IFS 2004/2010).
