AI & Data Project Manager

About the role

Drive BB Energy’s AI and data transformation across Data Science, IT, Operations, Risk, and commercial teams, helping build the next generation of AI‑enabled trading, operations, risk, and analytics capabilities. Operate at the intersection of AI transformation, enterprise analytics, Microsoft Fabric & Azure, data governance, automation, executive strategy, and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI and data initiatives, coordinating timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
• Act as the bridge between Data Science, IT, PMO, Operations, Risk, Trading, and external vendors to ensure alignment and execution.
• Coordinate initiatives across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Purview and enterprise data governance to build scalable analytics platforms.
• Build executive‑level reporting, maintain RAID logs, KPIs and governance structures, and track business value realization.
• Manage delivery with Microsoft and implementation partners, governing external engagements.
• Lead strategic programs such as enterprise AI transformation, Generative AI agents, data platform modernisation, and operational workflow automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in AI/Data program management, analytics transformation or technology consulting.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale data or AI initiatives in complex, cross‑functional environments.
• Consulting background (e.g., EY, Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, KPMG) strongly preferred.
• Experience in energy, commodities, trading, logistics or financial services sectors.
