Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s general accounting transactions, fixed assets, and accounts receivable. The role ensures accurate entry and compliance with local GAAP and international reporting standards while supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end General Ledger, Intercompany, Group and External Reporting, Enterprise Consolidation, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure all accounts in allocated legal entities comply with International and local Financial Reporting Standards.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits.
• Maintain and enrich electronic and physical tax and labor documentation.
• Prepare supporting documents for departmental cooperation bodies.
• Close calendar, perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, and prepare corporate financial reports.
• Draft tax and accounting forms, ensuring compliance with labor legislation.
• Foster collaboration across teams and resolve accounting‑related issues.
• Continuously develop professional knowledge through training and networking.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting or Finance (MSc desirable).
• 4‑5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and native Greek.
• Strong knowledge of local tax legislation and GAAP.
• Excellent planning, organization, integrity, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and drive continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
