IT Systems & Network Engineer

About the role

Lavipharm is seeking an experienced IT Systems & Network Engineer to join the team and report to the Lead IT. The role involves providing advanced technical support across office and production environments while ensuring the reliability of IT infrastructure in a regulated GMP setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd- and 3rd-level support for software, accounts, access, and endpoints, troubleshooting complex issues.
• Own escalated incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Support and maintain meeting‑room and AV infrastructure, including Microsoft Teams Rooms.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and licensing.
• Manage identities, authentication, and access via Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA, role assignments).
• Maintain on‑premises Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and Windows Server environments.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, security improvements, and IT projects.
• Monitor system health, identify operational, security, and capacity issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex endpoint, identity, application, and infrastructure problems.
• Experience working in a regulated GMP environment is preferred.

• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Multi‑Factor Authentication.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Windows Server.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls.
