IT System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Entry‑Mid level System Administrator to join our IT team in Athens. The role focuses on networking and telephony infrastructure, supporting LAN/WAN, VoIP systems and general server administration.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot LAN, WAN and VPN connectivity issues.
• Support VLAN configuration, routing, basic firewall rule management and network documentation.
• Administer VoIP telephony platforms (Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams Phone, 3CX, etc.), including handset provisioning, call routing and voicemail.
• Assist with Windows/Linux server administration, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, network and account issues via the ITSM platform.
• Participate in infrastructure projects such as office moves, network upgrades and telephony migrations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in system administration, network or telecom support.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP and VPN concepts.
• Exposure to VoIP/telephony systems and basic firewall/security knowledge.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux server environments.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
