International Private Medical Insurance Claims Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Claims Technician to join our International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) team in Athens. You will support the efficient handling of medical insurance claims for international policyholders, ensuring accuracy and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process and assess medical insurance claims in line with policy terms and conditions.
• Review medical documentation, invoices and support records for completeness and accuracy.
• Liaise with healthcare providers, brokers, clients and internal departments regarding claim requirements and status updates.
• Maintain accurate records and update claims systems, ensuring compliance with service levels and regulatory standards.
• Identify potential fraud or discrepancies and support escalated cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, healthcare management or a related field.
• Previous experience in insurance claims administration, preferably health or IPMI.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with insurance CRM systems.
