Financial Controller – Remote (Global AI Company)

About the role

Omilia is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of its global financial records. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the close and consolidation process across multiple entities, manage a distributed accounting team, and ensure full IFRS compliance. This is a remote, senior‑level position within a fast‑growing conversational AI leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all entities, including Cyprus HQ and Greece, delivering accurate IFRS consolidation.
• Own the revenue recognition policy under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS and professional services contracts.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.
• Manage a distributed team responsible for accounts payable, expenses, payroll and NetSuite administration.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a growth‑stage enterprise software environment.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with deep IFRS expertise, especially multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS 15.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams across European time zones.
