Financial Controller

About the role

Omilia is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of its global financial records and lead the close and consolidation process across multiple entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will drive IFRS compliance and financial automation for a fast‑growing AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all entities, including Cyprus HQ and Greece, ensuring accurate IFRS consolidation.
• Own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS and professional services contracts.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors and manage a distributed accounting team handling AP, expenses, payroll and NetSuite administration.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, automation, and reporting systems as the company scales.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a growth‑stage enterprise software environment.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with deep IFRS expertise, especially multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS 15.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams across multiple European time zones.
