Financial Controller – Finance & Reporting

About the role

The Financial Controller will ensure strong operational discipline across all financial processes and provide high‑quality financial information and analysis to support management decisions. Working closely with the Finance & Accounting team and the Finance Director, the role combines financial control, management reporting, and performance evaluation in a fast‑moving frozen seafood business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse management reports, including P&L, cash‑flow and KPI dashboards.
• Analyse budget, forecast and prior‑period variances and deliver actionable insights.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and evaluate profitability of key business activities.
• Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting cycles and monitor budget execution.
• Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure timely delivery of reporting packages to Group HQ.
• Review balance‑sheet items, accruals and provisions in line with IFRS and Greek GAAP.
• Monitor cash‑flow, liquidity and working‑capital trends; support treasury activities and bank relationships.
• Assist with statutory, tax and regulatory reporting and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; postgraduate degree (MSc or MBA) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or similar finance roles.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial reports and analyses for senior management.
