Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse

About the role

Akrocare is seeking a full‑time Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse to provide home‑care services in Keratsínion. The nurse will deliver evidence‑based, personalized care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, ulcers, ostomies, and continence challenges, improving healing outcomes and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in home, clinical, or office settings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound, ostomy, and continence management.
• Perform advanced wound and ostomy treatments and monitor healing progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self‑care, prevention, and equipment use.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support the integration of innovative techniques and materials into practice.

Required profile

• Valid nursing license with a strong clinical background in nursing and medicine.
• Experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care (or willingness to obtain specialty certification).
• Driving licence for home‑care visits.
• Fluency in Greek; additional language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
