Wind Turbine Technician

About the role

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of Nordex, is looking for a Wind Turbine Technician to join the maintenance team at its wind farms in Kozani. You will play a key part in keeping turbines operating safely and efficiently, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines on site.
• Diagnose faults, communicate findings with the Service Coordinator, and perform troubleshooting and basic repairs on wind turbines.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and collaborate with subcontractors.
• Complete service reports, checklists, and ensure accurate documentation of work and expenses.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory and supervise subcontractors to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical education in Electrical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• Valid Electrical License (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with electrical, mechanical or hydraulic systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays, and ability to work at heights.
• Computer literate (MS Office & internal systems).
