Warehouse Department Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Department Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lykovrysi. This role coordinates daily warehouse operations, including receiving deliveries, unloading materials, packing products, and preparing orders for distribution to Veneti Bakery locations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving deliveries, unloading materials, packing products, and preparing orders for internal distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and support accurate inventory control to ensure timely replenishment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborate with logistics, production, and store teams to ensure efficient supply flow.

Required profile

• Experience with core warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving and unloading.
• Proficiency in packing processes to prepare, label, and secure products for internal distribution.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices, including stock checks, documentation, and basic data entry.
• Ability to safely operate material‑handling equipment such as a pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in storage areas.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and organize products.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards in a warehouse or food environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with cross‑functional teams.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or food distribution environment is an asset.
