Treasury Assistant – Cash Management & Receivables

About the role

We are looking for a Treasury Assistant to support daily treasury and cash‑management activities at our Elefsina office. You will ensure accurate bank reconciliations, monitor cash movements and help manage outstanding receivables, contributing to the financial stability of a leading logistics provider.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record daily bank account transactions and cash movements.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with daily cash‑flow management and liquidity monitoring.
• Reconcile customer account balances and follow up on overdue receivables.
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to support credit‑risk management.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, payment status and customer balances.
• Support the development and implementation of treasury, receivables and credit‑risk procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on cash balances, reconciliations, collections and credit checks for management.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities to assess risks and recommend actions.
• Ability to negotiate repayment plans and persuade clients tactfully.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations, Navision, SAP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
