Tenders Manager

About the role

The Tenders Manager will lead the end‑to‑end tender process for our resort projects, ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with the group’s strategic objectives and compliance standards. This role is pivotal in driving transparent, fair, and efficient supplier engagements across the Sani/Ikos portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of tender processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and develop tender strategies aligned with procurement and organisational objectives.
• Prepare, review, and issue tender documentation, including technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms, ensuring compliance with internal governance, procurement policies, and applicable regulations.
• Manage communication with contractors and suppliers, organise briefings, clarification meetings, and site visits, maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the engagement.
• Coordinate bid evaluation committees, ensure consistent application of evaluation methodologies, and support cross‑functional teams in assessing commercial, technical, and financial aspects of proposals.
• Prepare evaluation reports, recommendations, and approval documentation for tender awards; collaborate with internal departments to define requirements and criteria.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails, identify and mitigate procurement risks, and continuously improve tendering processes, templates, and documentation.
• Promote best practices and standardisation, track and report key procurement and tender performance metrics, and provide insights on supplier competitiveness, cycle times, and cost optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or tender management, with a proven track record of handling complex or high‑value tender processes.
• Experience working in structured procurement environments with strong governance and compliance requirements.
• In‑depth knowledge of procurement and tendering procedures.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial evaluation capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
