Team Lead, Disease Specialists

About the role

As a Team Lead for Disease Specialists at Epikast, you will guide a group of specialists who engage US‑based physicians, ensuring they communicate disease insights and therapy benefits effectively while receiving coaching and performance support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Disease Specialists to deliver high‑quality scientific and product engagement with US healthcare professionals.
• Set performance expectations, drive productivity, track KPIs and oversee day‑to‑day operations such as call quality, appointment‑setting and compliance.
• Provide guidance on scientific discussions, product positioning and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable guidance for the team.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training and Leadership to improve processes and tools, including AI‑enabled solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in medical sales, medical engagement or a related healthcare‑facing role, with prior people‑leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of scientific exchange and relationship‑building with healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills in English and ability to build credibility with US‑based stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead by example, maintain high standards and pay close attention to detail and quality.
• Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to motivate, develop and retain high‑performing teams.
