About the role
BRS Shipbrokers, a leading global ship‑broking firm, is looking for a Tanker Operator to join its Athens office. The role involves handling tankers of all sizes and coordinating voyage operations between charterers and owners.
Key responsibilities
- Handle tankers of all sizes, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Apply knowledge of Charter Party terms and conditions to follow and effectively manage voyage orders, sailing instructions and other operational items.
- Maintain the company’s online system to ensure accuracy of voyage information.
- Coordinate communication between charterers and owners in accordance with Charter Party terms to meet voyage needs.
Required profile
- Preferably hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Shipping.
- Have at least one relevant experience as an Operator.
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
- Be fluent in English.
