Specialist Medical Cannabis – Scientific Sales Role

About the role

The Specialist Medical Cannabis will promote the company’s medical cannabis portfolio to healthcare professionals, organisations and key accounts within an assigned territory. This emerging therapeutic area requires building scientific understanding, establishing cannabis as an evidence‑based treatment, and improving patient access.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver one‑to‑one scientific and promotional presentations to HCPs and hospitals.
• Provide accurate, balanced, up‑to‑date scientific information to support appropriate product use.
• Organise scientific and marketing events such as HCP meetings and advisory boards.
• Develop strategies to approach new prescribers and grow sales across the territory.
• Build and execute a territory plan to achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with KOLs and key accounts.
• Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape through field insights.
• Ensure all activities comply with legislation, industry codes and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience promoting innovative/originator products in a scientifically driven environment.
• Proven ability to shape medical perceptions and drive adoption of a novel treatment.
• Track record of achieving sales targets in an assigned territory.
• Excellent command of English.
