Service Lead Technician

About the role

Join a leading renewable energy company as a Service Lead Technician, overseeing wind turbine service operations at a wind farm in Livadeia. You will combine hands‑on technical work with coordination of field activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate local service technicians on site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic turbine systems.
• Plan and dispatch daily technician activities considering safety, weather, material availability and service priorities.
• Communicate with customers before and after interventions and provide activity updates.
• Prepare accurate reports on maintenance tasks, incidents, downtime and daily activities.
• Manage materials, tools, service vehicles and local stock at the Service Point.
• Use internal systems for reporting, planning, dispatching and material booking.
• Support knowledge sharing, field training and technical development within the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the wind industry.
• Previous experience in wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting and service operations.
• Ability to work at heights and in remote locations.
• GWO certifications: Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness and Manual Handling.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
• Good command of English and solid IT competence.
• Driving licence and strong safety awareness.
