Senior Operations AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Operations AI Engineer to join PwC’s Procurement and Supply Chain team in Athens. In this hands‑on technical leadership position you will design and deliver AI‑driven solutions that autonomously monitor, reason and optimise large‑scale supply‑chain and logistics environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine‑learning models with PyTorch, TensorFlow and Scikit‑learn for operational optimisation.
• Develop agentic AI tools using LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or CrewAI that autonomously monitor, reason and recommend actions.
• Design multi‑agent systems with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines, vector databases and tool‑calling architectures for end‑to‑end workflows.
• Deliver production‑grade AI services – APIs, ML pipelines and cloud deployments on Azure, AWS or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Accelerate prototyping with coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude and GitHub Copilot.
• Lead technical decision‑making and act as the primary AI engineering advisor for the team and clients.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence and modern software engineering.
• Self‑driven, ambitious and motivated by solving complex, real‑world operational problems.
• Excellent ability to shape technical direction and mentor junior team members.
