Senior Hardware Engineer

About the role

Kenotom is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join its Thessaloniki team, developing mission‑critical embedded systems for automotive and space applications. The role focuses on hardware design, validation, and compliance with stringent industrial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout of hardware for mission‑critical applications, including automotive and space projects.
• Perform worst‑case analysis, power loss calculations, measurement error propagation, and end‑of‑life component assessments.
• Conduct thorough SPICE simulations to validate designs under worst‑case conditions.
• Review and apply automotive and space technical standards to guide hardware design and validation.
• Lead electrical and EMC pre‑compliance testing in line with automotive processes.
• Define, analyze, and review hardware requirements and test specifications.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and reports for all activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electronics Engineer, preferably in automotive or space sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; a Master’s in Embedded Systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and power electronics in harsh environments.
• Ability to work within a large multidisciplinary development team and meet schedule targets.
