Senior Go Engineer – Distributed Systems

About the role

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer with strong Go expertise and experience designing large‑scale distributed systems. You’ll work across backend and frontend domains, collaborating closely with product, sales, and AI platform teams to design, prototype, and launch powerful conversational experiences for Latin America’s largest retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain distributed backend systems using Go, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, designers, and enterprise partners to define user journeys, performance goals, and success metrics.
• Own critical parts of Connectly’s platform infrastructure—from messaging orchestration to data pipelines and API integrations.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and operational excellence across all services.
• Mentor teammates, contribute to code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices in a fast‑moving, distributed environment.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Deep attention to detail paired with strong system‑level thinking; ability to zoom out to strategy and dive deep into code.
• Bias for action and results, comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving product needs.
• Genuine curiosity and a drive to stay ahead of the rapidly changing AI landscape.
