Senior Auditor – Thessaloniki

About the role

As a Senior Auditor you will lead audit engagements from planning through to final reporting, ensuring high‑quality delivery in line with regulatory standards. You will work closely with partners, directors and managers while collaborating with audit teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning to finalisation, adhering to agreed timelines.
• Supervise and coordinate audit teams, reviewing work of junior staff and providing feedback.
• Act as the main point of contact for engagement leads and clients, keeping them informed of progress and issues.
• Ensure audit standards and procedures are consistently applied and that audit files are cleared of review points.
• Build strong client relationships and address requests or problems promptly.
• Produce high‑quality work that meets firm policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (MSc, ACCA or equivalent is an asset).
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in an audit firm.
• Practical knowledge of audit procedures and familiarity with IFRS and Greek GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and a collaborative attitude.
