Senior Associate / Assistant Manager – ESG & Sustainability

About the role

KPMG Greece is expanding its ESG & Sustainability practice and seeks motivated professionals to join as Senior Associates or Assistant Managers. You will work on consulting and assurance projects that help clients disclose and improve their non‑financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ESG and sustainability projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Develop new business opportunities in ESG reporting and sustainability consulting.
• Implement or design methodologies for integrating ESG considerations into client operations.
• Ensure compliance with reporting directives such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy and related regulations.
• Monitor global and regional ESG trends, standards and tools, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in ESG or broader sustainability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Economic, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s in a sustainability discipline is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, project‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with ESG frameworks and standards such as ESRS/CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, ISO 14001, EMAS, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol and EU Taxonomy.
