Road Transport Operator – Freight Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Road Transport Operator to join our team in Piraeus. You will coordinate and organise the full range of road freight services, from pricing and bookings to customs clearance and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate road freight quotations and communicate them to customers.
• Load bookings into the system and monitor quotation success.
• Identify cost‑effective domestic collection and delivery options and book hauliers or pallet networks.
• Prepare export and import customs entries and related documentation.
• Build export groupage trailers and ensure proper loading, labelling and cargo handling.
• Liaise with warehouses, European partners and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Provide shipment updates, request proof of delivery and negotiate costs with suppliers.
• Prepare shipment files for invoicing.

Required profile

• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Strong customer‑facing attitude with high level of orientation.
• Previous experience in road operations, freight pricing or a similar logistics role.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Team player eager to progress within an international company.

Required skills

• Proficiency in calculating freight quotations.
• Experience with booking systems and customs documentation.
• Negotiation skills for supplier cost management.
