R&D Project Manager

About the role

Adalvo is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead pharmaceutical development projects on a project‑basis. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, external partners, and ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage project schedules, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate problem‑solving, decision‑making, and risk mitigation across project teams.
• Track milestones, budgets, and scope, and adjust plans to accelerate critical deliverables.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations for governance boards and partner meetings.
• Oversee reference drug procurement, shipment, and compliance with quality gates.
• Identify trends, budget risks, and opportunities, contributing to long‑term financial forecasts.
• Travel to CMDO/CMO/CPO sites as required.

Required profile

• MS in pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering, or a related scientific discipline (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in pharmaceutical product development through regulated registration to launch.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and cross‑functional collaboration.
